Fall 2018 Finals League Championship Format
Teams winning their Division will automatically advance to the BB Doubles league Championship Tournament. This will be a Double Elimination Tournament. This tournament will follow a Round Robin Qualifier tournament. The format of the Double Elimination Tournament will be Best of 3 (501 / CKT / Choice). Best of 3 will be in both the winner and the loser bracket. Teams will Flip & Diddle for 1st game. If the match goes to game 3, then teams will Flip & Diddle for choice. Choice will be either going first or game played. There is no handicap in this tournament.
Round Robin Qualifier: Teams not winning their division will have the opportunity to play in a round robin qualifier. Teams must either have finished second in their division or played and won a playoff match to qualify for the round robin qualifier. The round robin qualifier will consist of a pool of teams. Each team will play all of the other teams within the pool. Each match will be a total of 3 games. All games must be played. The format for the Round Robin will be 501, CKT, Choice.
The number of teams advancing to the Double Elimination Tournament will be announced prior to the start of the Round Robin Qualifier. Teams will advanced based upon: (1) Games Won, (2) Head to Head score. If there is still a tie, then all teams involved in the tie will be play single game of 701 against all other teams involved in the tie. If there is still a tie, then a single game of 501 will be played with all teams playing simultaneously, with the winner advancing.
